There are two types of team within CRM:
- Owner Teams
- Access Teams
Owner Teams:-
This team have members and the team can own records.
An owner team has a finite number of members at any point in time. Owner teams are useful when reporting on the team as a whole is required. Each owner team is associated with a business unit.
They will need to be assigned a security role from that business unit. but the member of the team do not have to belong to the same business unit.
Access Teams:-
This team is a special type which gives record sharing capabilities. this is mostly used to share individual records.
You need to enable entity for access team, and then you can create access team template in security settings. then you can add sub-grid on entity. You can have more then one access team template for each entity.
